M: Concepto: vivir en una caravana.

R: Uf.

M: Pero en Europa, no en EEUU. En EEUU, cobrar el subsidio estatal, alimentarte de Taco Bell y vivir en una caravana en los suburbios de una ciudad reckneck es todo uno. Aquí no. Yo digo… la idea romantizada de vivir en una caravana. Que por dentro fuera como la casa de Maude, de “Harold and Maude”.

R: Qué grande Hal Ashby.

M: Tú la tendrías como la de la foto.

M: Idea: living in a caravan.

R: Gee… not funny.

M: But in Europe, not in the States. In the States, getting the unemployment compensation, feed oneself on Taco Bell’s and living in a caravan on the suburbs of a redneck city goes together. I was thinking more of… the romantic idea of a caravan. Decorated as the one from Maude in “Harold and Maude”.

R: Hal Ashby, what a genious.

M: I bet your caravan would be like the one on the image.

M: Invento de Missoni para los camastros de lujo de Hastens, esos que tienen los reyes de por Europa y tal.

R: Mola la idea de acumular colchones en plan princesa del guisante.

M: Y el cuadro vichy. El cuadro vichy nunca se va ni viene, permanece, pero tiene sus momentos. En una temporada o así, todos con vichy.

M: Missoni’s invention for Hastens’ luxurious beds, you know? the ones European kings might have.

R: It’s kinda cool to have lots of matresses one on top of the other, like the princess and the pea.

M: And the gingham fabric. Gingham is never in fashion or old fashioned, it just stays. Though it has its moments. I think in one season or so, everybody in gingham. 

R: Idea para empezar el año: pintarse la casa a topos.

M: Con un par.

R: Lo bueno es que los choris creen que estás majareta y no se atreven ni a pasar al lado, como si fuera la mansión de Boo Radley.

M: Los topos son buena cosa. Rei Kawakubo lo sabe, y tú también.

R: Idea to start the year: paint your house with dots.

M: Fucking yes.

R: The best part is that the thieves think you are nuts and they don’t even walk nearby. Like if it was Boo Radley house.

M: Dots are good. Rei Kawakubo knows that, and so do you.
